CILS EXAM INDIVIDUAL PREPARATION IN FLORENCE
CILS exam preparation course in Florence – 10 lessons per week
Linguaviva’s Florence school is an accredited CILS (Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language) exam centre, which certifies knowledge of Italian as a foreign language. The certification – issued by the Università per Stranieri di Siena – is divided into six different levels of linguistic-communicative competence as per the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). It assesses the following language skills at each level: listening, reading, grammar, writing, and speaking. The course consists of 10 one-to-one lessons per week.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
The CILS preparation course, which runs throughout the year, is suitable for those wishing to undertake an Italian language study course in Italy and those wishing to certify their knowledge of Italian for professional reasons.
OBJECTIVES
The aim of the course is to prepare students for the CILS exam. The certification is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education and Merit. Candidates who possess CILS level B1/B2 certification are guaranteed access to any Italian university or higher education institute. Certification also exempts students from taking the Italian language test required for academic studies in Italy.
COURSE CONTENT
This course focuses on developing the language skills required to pass the CILS exam, improving knowledge of grammar, and developing listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. The lessons are planned by experienced Linguaviva teachers, who are available to provide the support and guidance needed to understand the CILS test and learn the best techniques to obtain a high score. The course also includes an initial placement test, academic and career counselling, and a certificate of attendance.
