Entrance exam preparation courses in Florence and Milan are offered in 6- to 28-week formulas. We also offer a 15-week online programme.
FOUNDATION PROGRAMME –
30 weeks
The Linguaviva Foundation programme is a 28-week preparatory course for individuals wishing to embark on their academic studies at an Italian university.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
The Foundation programme is specifically designed to prepare students for Italian university entrance exams. The course is for individuals who are absolute beginners or have a basic/elementary knowledge of the Italian language.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Absolute beginners or those with basic/elementary knowledge of the Italian language will be taught Italian and how to pass university entrance exams. Learning the language requires students to reach the B2 level of Italian to enrol at an Italian university, while our university preparation studies will teach students how the exams are structured.
COURSE CONTENT
The course programme includes specific modules depending on the degree pathway chosen by the student, to ensure they get the most comprehensive and functional education they need to pass the entrance exam. During the course, students will sit mock exams.

ENTRANCE EXAM PREPARATION – SHORT COURSE – 10 weeks
Our 11-week short university entrance exam preparation course teaches international students the language and scientific skills they need to enrol in medicinal studies programmes in Italy. The course is offered at Linguaviva Florence campus
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
Our short programme is for students wishing to enrol in Medicine and Veterinary degrees at Italian universities, with selective entrance exams. The course is suitable for those with a B1 or higher level of knowledge of the Italian language.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Our short preparatory course is designed to help students meet the language and academic requirements for admission to degree courses in medicine, veterinary medicine, at Italian universities. The course will improve language skills such as text comprehension, vocabulary, communication skills, writing, and verbal logic.
COURSE CONTENT
Our short entrance exam preparation course complies with the guidelines provided by the Italian Ministry of Education. The course programme includes specific modules, depending on the degree pathway chosen by the student. During the course, students will learn how the exams are structured and will practice answering the types of questions on the exams.
ENTRANCE EXAM
PREPARATION – SHORT COURSE –
6 weeks
We also offer a short 6-week university entrance exam preparation programme. This short and intensive course in Italian or English prepares students for their university studies in Italy.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
This university preparation course is for students in their penultimate year of high school who plan to enrol in a degree course in Italy. A B2 level of Italian or IELTS 5.0 level of English is required to successfully sign up to these courses.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
Running during the summer, our short preparation programme aims to familiarise students with the Italian academic environment, study opportunities, and exam requirements at Italian universities. All in the quickest time possible.
COURSE CONTENT
Our short entrance exam preparation course is divided into specific modules depending on the student’s chosen degree course. Unlike other programmes, the short course includes lessons in Italian or English, depending on the student’s prior knowledge. During the six-week session, the course will focus exclusively on science subjects. Practice exercises and mock exams are also organised.

ONLINE UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE
EXAM PROGRAMME
– ENGLISH –
15 weeks
Linguaviva’s university entrance exam preparation programme in Italy is also available in online, providing you with maximum flexibility. The course lasts 15 weeks and focuses exclusively on science subjects.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
Our online programme for Italian university entrance exams is suitable for those who intend to study Architecture , Engineering or IMAT Medicine in English at an Italian university. This course is for students who are in their penultimate year of high school and those who have completed higher education but are unable to travel to Italy to attend an in-person programme. To successfully attend this online course, an English level of at least B1 is required.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
The aim of this online preparation course is to go over and delve deeper into exam subjects, thus enabling students to familiarise themselves with the requirements and better prepare for the entrance exam.
COURSE CONTENT
Our online university preparation course provides an in-depth overview of the subjects and topics covered in entrance exams. During the 15-week session, students have the opportunity to learn how the exam questions are structured and practice answering them. These dynamic and interactive online lessons are held in English and are recorded, uploaded, and stored on the cloud, to which students have exclusive access in the lead-up to their exam.
